The following is a listing of the people and positions through which Scorpius is believed to control at the time of this annual report.

Academia
- Carl Coleson (aka Caries)
  - Professor Emeritus and Chairman of the Ocean Geochemistry and Palaeoclimate Research at the Godwin Laboratory, Department of Earth Sciences, Cambridge University
  - He made his name in ocean chemistry and palaeochemistry. He made significant contributions to further the research of global warming, and bring it into the mainstream. He travels the world, giving lectures and speeches on the subject of the effects of global warming on the ocean.
  - He received a Nobel Prize for his efforts. He was recruited during his doctoral studies with promises of greatness should he do the bidding of Scorpius, to which he gladly agreed.
  - He is actually a mediocre scientist and his colleagues often wonder how he achieved such notoriety and accolades.

Assassination
- Deathmaster (aka “Sicarius”)
  - Leader of Death Legion.
  - Sicarius runs several international mercenary groups/assassin guilds/hitmen himself, in addition to his two Scorpius operatives under him.
Corporate/Business
- Hank Palmero (aka Praedor)
  - Chairman of the board and CEO of General Electric
  - Hank has been named as Time magazine's 100 most influential people in the world list.
  - He was caught in a political bribery scandal, but was “rescued” by Scorpius, who used his operatives in the media to spike the story.
Entertainment
- Brian Mendes (aka Tantibus)
  - Chairman of the Board for Time Warner
  - He led the merger for AOL and Time Warner, the largest merger in American business history. He started as a programming executive for NBC and eventually left to join Time Inc, as CEO. He stepped down from his CEO position when he was selected for the Chairman slot.
  - Mendes is probably most famous for having brokered the merger between AOL and Time Warner, at the height of the dot-com bubble, a merger which seemed to many to be disadvantageous to Time Warner as the bubble collapsed in the next few years. He was accused of insider trading, but was acquitted by a suddenly inept prosecution in what seemed like to be a slam dunk case.
  - Those who speculated that the jury had been paid off were closer to the truth.
Finance/Banking
- Gilbert Robinson (aka Aviditas)
  - American business magnate, and philanthropist
  - Gilbert's net worth of $25 billion makes him the 10th-richest person in the United States.
  - He came from a wealthy family with ancestry going back to the Rothschilds of Europe. After he graduated from the Harvard School of Business, he was hired by Lehman Brothers as an analyst in their Investment Databases department. He was then hired by the Treasury Department as Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Institutions, and later moved up to the Undersecretary for International Affairs. During his tenure here, he was invited into the Council on Foreign Relations.
  - Upon leaving public service he founded Robinson News Corp., a financial data-services firm. He subsequently became a multi-billionaire, and created many philanthropic organizations in which he donated 100’s of millions of dollars worldwide. Through one of these tax exempt foundations, he was accused of insider trading.
  - He was later cleared of all charges when there turned out to be insufficient evidence for indictment by a grand jury (believed to be cleared by fellow inner circle).
Government
- Jeane Lundson (aka Metus)
  - Secretary General of the United Nations, former Icelandic Ambassador to the UN, former Prime Minister of Iceland. Elected to the Icelandic Parliament as a member of the Social Democratic Party.
  - She enjoyed early success in his parliamentary career, serving as deputy speaker. She was elected vice-chairman of the Social Democratic Party, and later was also Minister of Social Affairs in four separate Cabinets when she left the Social Democratic Party to form a new party, the National Awakening. She was later re-elected deputy speaker of the Icelandic Parliament, and went on to become the Minister of Social Affairs and Social Security.
  - She was elected Prime Minister of Iceland amidst a very close and hotly contested election, which many believed was rigged. Her administration was plagued with scandal, and she only served one term. Upon leaving the position she was appointed ambassador.
  - She was recruited by Scorpius at the height of her scandals, which saved her from being expelled. This recruitment was instrumental in getting her ambassador appointment.
Intelligence/Espionage*
- Yensin Kawasinzu (aka Colloquor)
  - A former Japanese Foreign Service Officer. Possessing an eidetic (photographic) memory, he is also fluent in eight other languages; English, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, and Spanish. He graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in Communications. He was initially hired by the Japanese Foreign Ministry as a Foreign Service Officer (spy) against mainland China. He later functioned as Adjutant Consul in Saudi Arabia, masterfully directing many simultaneous espionage operations against several countries in that region, including the United States and the UN. He often played them against each other for his amusement.
  - He was born to a Japanese father and American mother, and can pass for a Westerner, which he works to his advantage. It was here that he uncovered the Scorpius network, the only one to ever do so. Kawasinzu was about to discover the identity of Scorpius himself, when Scorpius recruited him. He is the only person Scorpius has ever respected. He then left the Japanese Foreign Ministry and began working for Scorpius directly. His death in a car bombing was faked, which was meant to appear as an assassination of an Israeli official by Al Qaeda. Through some minor plastic surgery, he is a non-entity to the rest of the world.
  - He now moves about the world in many disguises and identities directing the vast Scorpius spy network, including internal spies against other Scorpius operatives. He suspects the true identity of Scorpius, and his otherwise implausible origins, but is prudent enough to not probe too aggressively. He is the only member of the Scorpius Inner Circle to know the actual identity of other Scorpius operatives, beyond the only two the others know, including the others members of the Inner Circle.
  - His high IQ, photographic memory, and adherence to the Greek classic Stoic philosophy, has made him nearly impervious to torture, and has never broken despite being brutally tortured on numerous occasions.

* This is an organization internal to Scorpius. It spies on Scorpius members as well as infiltrating other nation’s intelligence gathering organization.

Media (News outlets, TV, Internet, Radio)
- Bonnie Alexaria (aka Ementior)
  - COO of CNN
  - Brooke was instrumental in aiding Ted Turner establish CNN. She is also on the board of directors for the United Nations Foundation. She started as a local CBS affiliate anchor in Phoenix, AZ. She was soon promoted to associate producer for CBS in Atlanta, GA, where she met Ted Turner at a banquet. They had a brief affair. He assigned her to positions of greater and greater responsibilities within his superstation, eventually as lead anchor at WTBS. When he formed CNN, he cherry picked her for the COO spot.
  - Much of her success, in part, was due to her attractiveness. She was also not adverse to doing whatever it took to either get the story or climb the ladder. She was recruited by a Scorpius operative she uncovered during her time as an investigative reporter.
  - In return for her spiking the story, the operative promised her great success in her career. She willingly complied, her career then skyrocketed, and since has become the “it girl” in the news media world.
Military
- Gen. David Rentfrow, USA (Ret.) (aka Traditor)
  - US Secretary of Defense
  - Rentfrow graduated from Westpoint, summa cum laud, and served as a platoon leader in Viet Nam, receiving two Distinguished Service Crosses, and the CMH for gallantry.
  - Rentfrow quickly rose through the ranks, and was assigned CinC of CENTCOM at the beginning of the war in Iraq.
  - He became disillusioned with the military and government after his tours in Viet Nam, becoming very vocal about the government hypocrisy, for which he was disciplined. However, his career was resurrected and he somehow returned to the good graces of the military, and again received many accolades.
  - He retired from the Army as a 4-Star General when he was tapped to become SecDef, which sailed through Senate confirmation.
Non-Government Organization (NGO)**
- Maxine Gardner (aka Vermiculus)
  - Chairman of the Ford Foundation
  - Graduated from JFK school of Government, and was hired as an assistant to McGeorge Bundy and later Franklin Thomas. During that period she completed a MA in Political Science, and corporate law from Carnegie Melon University, where she was approached and recruited into Scorpius.
  - Maxine was invited by the Rand Corporation to join their legal department, and later went to the Ford Foundation. Upon leaving the Ford Foundation as a board member, she was selected as Executive Director for the International Red Cross. Later, she was tapped to be Chairman of the Board for Oxfam America. She later founded the Caducei Project. The project is an international aid foundation dedicated to bringing expert medical treatment by the world’s leading medical specialists for rare diseases, and lifesaving surgeries to children born with deformities in third world nations.
  - Caducei is a Scorpius fake company, “employing” many Scorpius operatives. It primarily functions as a front for child slave trading/prostitution and arms dealing.

** An NGO consists of charities, unions, tax-exempt foundations, political advocacy groups, think tanks, etc. Some of these are entirely Scorpius operations, some are only influenced/infiltrated by Scorpius).

Religion
- Archbishop Travil Tresanvon (aka Mendacio)
  - Roman Catholic archbishop and the current secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.
  - He received his BA in philosophy from University of London and a doctorate in theology at the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. He is a member of the International Theological Commission. He is also professor of theology at the seminary of Rome when he was appointed Titular Archbishop of Rome and secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. His liberal and sometimes unorthodox views of the Catholic Faith have made him a notorious figure amongst the orthodox Church Faithful and other bishops and cardinals, and beloved by Catholic liberals. It is speculated that he will soon be appointed to the College of Cardinals and may be a potential candidate for Pope someday, much to the vexation of most Catholics.
  - Early in his career, he was recruited by Scorpius when he was accused of a sex scandal and nearly relieved of his priestly faculties and excommunicated. The scandal broke when woman came forward when he refused to leave the priesthood to marry her. But his career was saved when she died under mysterious circumstances, although the authorities and the medical examiner found no evidence of foul play.
  - With this scandal behind him, his career took off.
Trade***
- Xian Yuan Li (aka Vomitus)
  - CEO of Hainan Overseas Shipping, the world’s largest shipping company
  - He was recruited by Scorpius as a young man, while working on the docks in Hong Kong. At the time, Li had a growing and highly lucrative gambling ring that was noticed by Scorpius when it started to encroach on their activities. Instead of wiping him out, they absorbed him.
  - For his hard work in establishing and expanding the gambling ring, Li was sent to America for an Ivy League business and international law education, and then returned to China to climb the corporate shipping ladder.
  - Smuggling of anything is the primary objective of the Trade Directorate.

United Nations
- Scott Young (aka Morbus)
  - Executive Director of UNICEF
  - Of Russian descent, he is a former American diplomat, Foreign Service Officer, and political adviser. He has been a foreign policy adviser to many presidents, and served as National Security Adviser.
  - He also held the chair of Distinguished Professor at the School of Foreign Service at Yale University. He was recruited into Scorpius while a member of the secretive Skull and Bones fraternity.
  - He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission, and the Bilderberger Group.

IV. Scorpius Leader: Scorpius (aka Demetrius)

Scorpius himself is an immortal human.

GUARD suspects (via intelligence gained through interrogations of Scorpius operatives) that he is Adam Weishaupt, founder of the Illuminati in the late 18th Century. Along with immortality, Scorpius has psychic and telekinetic powers. How he became immortal and how long he has actually been alive is a mystery to them.

It is believed he was actually a Roman centurion killed in the battle against Hannibal. He “awoke” with a lance completely piercing his chest through and through. His 'reanimation' disturbed his troops, causing him to leave in the middle of the night and never return to his troops again. He then decided to no longer be a pawn in other leader's power struggles. Instead, he sought for and studied all forms of knowledge, both physical and mystical. He gained tremendous knowledge, and attained positions of great influence under new aliases and names. Throughout the centuries, Scorpius also amassed tremendous wealth and power. He did it all, having lived as the lowest thief/murderer/criminal, to great power in the governments of the world until the 18th Century.

Due to being alive for thousands of years, it is believed that he has become insane. Years passed as days to him, and he could no longer relate to people in the same way we do. They are mere tools used to further his plans for world domination. It is a game to him, much like chess to us. Even Scorpius is unsure if he might actually have have sired several children in some of Europe’s royal families.

Scorpius is believed to read the minds of all humans within his sight, and implant suggestions (which don’t always work depending on the strength of the victims will, intelligence, ideological orientation, and their own psychic abilities. Most average people are open to suggestion, as are people with evil/criminal tendencies because they are weaker-minded). He normally only communicates with his inner circle of 13 directorate leaders (Inner Circle) directly through a special psychic link, thus avoiding direct physical contact with his operatives, which may lead to his capture. He calls them by code names he gives them when selected based upon their directorate. This psychic link is implanted unbeknownst to the victim, during a meeting where the director leader is not aware of his first meeting with Scorpius. The head directorate operative can be someone who has come up through the Scorpius hierarchy, or recruited through their contacts, or due to any criminal activity they were involved in. They all perform their tasks loyally and without error. The genetically enhanced assassin directorate executes those who make mistakes.

In the late 14th Century, it is believed that Scorpius formed the Illuminati. The Illuminati infiltrated into all the governments of Europe, and operatives functioned at all levels, including royal advisers and ministers. The Illuminati fomented and influenced wars, raising up one kingdom, and destroying others, as he pleased. While experimenting with sorcery in the late 18th Century, he gained his psychic powers, which allowed his power and influence to expand exponentially. However, the Illuminati was exposed as a grand conspiracy. Members were brought to trial, and subsequently imprisoned or executed. Authorities disbanded them, and Weishaupt (Scorpius) went into exile, never to be seen again, although he published books and wrote letters. He had not learned the full extent of his psychic powers at the time, and due to the high moral character and intelligence of the men of the day, he was unable to wield the influence he has today. He faked his death at the age of “82”, and took on a series of false identities over the centuries. It is speculated that the Illuminati reformed to a smaller degree in the early 19th Century, and served as the foundation for Marx’s communist movement.

Today, he appears as an average, ordinary professor of history at Yale University, named Herbert Ross. He gives his lectures from memory – as he has no doubt lived in those eras. He makes himself as unremarkable as possible. He is almost a non-entity to his colleagues, and has not made any significant contributions to the study of history beyond writing his own course textbooks, in which he subtly spins history. He passes all of his students with an “A”, so as not to create too much controversy amongst them. Other professors steal his work, which he doesn’t care about, and in fact works into his plans.
